Comments:
For any given customer, comments can be entered in a free flowing
text manner. There is no limit for the amount of comments that need
to be entered. Comments can also be entered on a reservation level
as well as a customer level.
From the customer window, customer level comments can be added.
These comments can be used to keep information on a certain customer
at all times. As can be seen in various places in the application,
there are multiple comment types (rate type, customer, reservation,
etc.). The customer comments pertain to customer level information.
For a given reservation, reservation comments can be entered that
pertain only to that reservation. This design allows excellent flexibility
based on the user's needs.
In order to add, delete, etc. customer comments you can right click
on the comments grid and see a menu with insert, add, and delete
options, or use the menu at the top of the window. This popup menu
is the standard insert menu. The user can then proceed to add, delete,
etc. customer comments. In contrast to some other products on the
market, Axis has NO limit on the amount of characters that can be
entered. Feel free to enter any type of description that is necessary.
