Instructions for Running the Axis Demo Application

In order for prospective clients to run the Axis application, Exnelo has setup a stand alone demonstration server. This server runs as a Terminal Services Windows Server which allows a client to connect and run the application remotely. This means that a prospective client can "remote control" a session on the demonstration server. Below are the following requirements.

Client Machine Requirements
1 Preferred Operating System: Windows XP Home or Windows XP Professional
2 Internet connection, preferably a high speed connection via Comcast or Verizon
3 If you are running Windows 95, Windows 98 and 98 Second Edition, Windows Me, Windows NT 4.0, or Windows 2000, you need to download the free connection client from the following site.

Once you have downloaded the client software (if necessary for non XP Operating Systems) follow the following steps to connect to the server:

1 The Remote Desktop Connection software is pre-installed with Windows XP. To run it, click Start , click All Programs , click Accessories , click Communications , and then click Remote Desktop Connection . This software package can also be found on the Windows XP Professional and Windows XP Home Edition product CDs and can be installed on any supported Windows platform. To install from the CD, insert the disc into the target machine's CD-ROM drive, select Perform Additional Tasks , and then click Install Remote Desktop Connection .
2 In the Computer Name field type in the following: axisdemo.exnelo.com. This is the Exnelo demonstration server.
3 You can also select the options button and change any of the settings there. If you have a slower connection change your settings under the "experience" tab page.
4 After typing in the computer name and updating the options if necessary, click the Connect button.
5 Your desktop will now show the demonstration server desktop. If you need to toggle back to your own desktop use the minimize (-) button on the top right of the screen.

If you arrive at a logon to Windows prompt, use the following information:

User Name: axis1
Password: axis1

You will now be logged on to the demonstration server. The Axis application icon should be visible at the top left of the desktop.

7 If the Axis application is not already running, go ahead and double click on the Exnelo Axis icon.

Use the following information to log on the Axis application:

User Name: axis1
Password: axis1

Once you are logged in you can use any of the Axis features that you desire. You will not be able to print anything, but all other functionality will work as normal. All of the data in the application is test data so feel free to use any functionality that you desire. You will not break anything!

9 After you are finished, please close the Axis application.
10 After closing the Axis application, please log off of the server by clicking Start, Logoff
